My publishing operations expertise and passion for managing the inventory and fulfillment needs of organizations is built on a solid foundation of achievement and management for more than 25 years at publishers (Pearson Prentice Hall and AIS Health), a scholarly press (Brookings Institution Press), an online book retailer (VarsityBooks.com), a nonprofit organization (National Committee for Quality Assurance), a membership association (Council for Advancement and Support of Education), and through long-standing relationships with publishers, printers, and distribution vendors.
Building a career in inventory management turned out to be the perfect fit for someone like me who loves playing with numbers. And as a student of economics, I learned early that maintaining an adequate supply of products to equal customer demand is one of the most important functions for attaining successful sales and providing complete customer satisfaction and outstanding management of fulfillment operations. I tend to think in spreadsheets, and continuously ponder every aspect of fulfillment operations and strive to create even better methods for enhancing customer satisfaction and achieving the ultimate goal of delivering a finished product.
